Trinity United Parish in Glenburn and Lansford welcomed a new pastor this summer. Pastor Martha Harrison and her family moved to Glenburn in June, and she began serving the parish in July.

She is a recent graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, IA. She graduated from seminary and was ordained in May. While Trinity United Parish is her first call as an ordained pastor, Pastor Harrison has spent many years working as a Youth and Family Minister in churches in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Pastor Harrison moved here with her husband, Mike, and their four children, Michael - 16, Christopher - 14, Jacqueline - 12, and Joseph - 10. Mike, who is a seminary student, is spending this year serving as a pastoral intern at Metigoshe Lutheran Church in Bottineau. The four children are attending Glenburn Schools and are looking forward to meeting new friends and getting involved in activities.

The Harrison family is originally from Illinois. They also lived several years in Wisconsin before attending seminary in Iowa. The Harrison family is enjoying getting to know the people of Glenburn and Lansford, and they are looking foward to learning what life is like here on the prairie.
