MLS tracksters hoping to open up their outdoor season on Thursday
The Mohall Lansford Sherwood track teams have been putting in some chilly practices over the past few weeks, gearing up for their 2014 season. They opened up their season with two indoor meets, both being held at the MSU Dome. On Thursday, March 27th they participated in the Northwest Conference Indoor meet. Results from that meet were published in last week’s paper. This past Friday, April 4th, the teams were back at the Dome for the Central North Dakota Conference Indoor Meet. Results from that meet were not made available by the RCF deadline.

MLS is again being coached by Mickey Depute and will be assisted by Scott Erickson.

Hailee Depute, a junior, is the only returning state qualifier on the team. When asked what the team’s outlook for the season was, Coach Depute said, “We should excel in both the boys’ and girls’ relays, as well as sprints and jumps.
