On Monday, April 22nd, members of the Mohall, Tolley, Lansford, and Sherwood Ambulance Services were in Mohall for monthly training. The training, which was conducted by Lindsey Geisinger, an instructor with Community Ambulance Service Education Center in Minot, was on Advanced Airways and Bronchodilators/Nebulized Medications. The ambulance services carry and use the Combitube and the King Advanced Airways. The nebulized medication used by the ambulance services is Albuterol.
EMT’s are required to review and be tested in their advanced airway and bronchodilator/nebulizer skills at least every two years.
