Floyd Lavern Halverson passed away May 26, 2013 at his home in Yuma, AZ. A funeral was held in Yuma, AZ on Thursday, June 13. A burial service will be held in Flaxton in July.
His parents were Floyd and Alice Halverson of Flaxton and he was born there. He graduated from Flaxton High School. He went to work on the railroad and worked on the railroad and worked in different towns. He retired in 1990 (working 38 years) where he was a depot agent (at retirement) at Vancouver-Portland.
He married Berniece Halverson in 1956.
After retirement he enjoyed working on craft projects, traveling and working in a campground.
He is survived by his wife and son, Terry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Delmer and Shirley Christensen, Kenneth and Donna Christensen, Harold and Juline Christensen, Jay and Dorothy Christensen and Irene Olson; aunt, Betty Truay.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Rodney Olson.

A resident of Greensburg, LA, Mary Munt Rohner died on Friday, June 14, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Religious services held in St. Helena Catholic Church, Amite, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18. Services conducted by Fr. Mark Beard. Interment at Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg.
She was born January 19, 1944 in Oakes, ND and was 69 years of age. She lived in Bowbells at one time.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, baking, caring for her pets and her afternoon coffee with her friends.
She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Greensburg and was an owner and breeder of Thoroughbred Race Horses.
She is survived by her four children: James Gregory Rohner of Chicago, IL, Paige R. (Mark) Kluck of Suffolk, VA, Kip Leon (Becky) Rohner of Thibodaux, Blair R. (Brad) Bongiovanni of Baton Rouge;
seven grandchildren: Mark, Ryan, Jeremy, Rebecca, Abigail, and Matthew Kluck and Molly James Bongiovanni.
Preceded in death by husband, James Rohner; parents, James Dudley Munt and Mary Louise Pfeifer Munt.
