The school year is winding down. One can tell because the classes are taking their field trips, spring seasons are already wrapping up with their tournaments (even though they just got started), Play Days are scheduled, and next Wednesday and Thursday the Junior High and High School students are already taking their semester tests. Plus throw in the Kindergarten graduation and then High School graduation ceremonies. Wow! Where does the time go?
Good luck to all the area teams as they participate in their tournament plays. Hopefully all your practices have paid off and what competitions you did get to play or participate in will be enough to qualify you for your state tournaments.

There have been a few sightings of some of the farmers out in their fields. I’m sure the next few weeks will be very busy for them as they work to get those crops in. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and you will all stay safe during the seeding season.

A lot of progress is being made at the Mouse River Park as campers and those with summer homes down there have been preparing for the camping season. Nice to see a lot of action down there again. Things are also coming along nicely for the new bar. They are hoping to be open soon.
I would like to thank Caroline Downs from the Kenmare News for sharing her articles on the Park with us. We are running the article she did on the Park Bar this week and will share the other article with you next week on some of the other happenings at the Mouse River Park. Thanks Caroline!
